February with the Kipling 'Bike Club' has been all about advocacy for sustainable transportation in the Kipling area. The club has been meeting to discuss ways that we can work to make The Westway area more accessible for bicycles (such as bike lanes and bike lock stations). We have also been mapping out the area to see new routes the youth can take to school. We are looking forward to March, when the program will move to the after-school time slot and we will be able to bring the bikes outside.

We also learned about bicycle maintenance. The group learned how to fix a popped tire as well as how to maintain your bike for regular riding.
