Wintegration Newcomers

   A bunch of newcomers joined us at CultureLink for our Wintegration Program on October 2nd..

   We started with ice breaker games. Firstly, everyone got a little slip of paper. We had to write down our names. Then, we walked around to introduce ourselves to a person you didn’t know. We needed to say about our names, the school we go to, the favorite color we like and where are we come from. Then, we exchanged the card with the person who we were just introduced to. My partner was a Chinese girl whose name was NaNa. After we were done introducing themselves one by one, we got to know each other better.

   Next, we started preparing for a Halloween Celebration which will be on Oct 31. There will be a costume design competition that day. We split up into several groups with 4-5 people. In my group, Antara volunteered herself to be dressed up. The rest of us were responsible for designing and collecting materials for the costumes. I am looking forward to getting this done perfectly!

   Anyway, the more people we have in our program, the more fun it will be. Good luck to all the newcomers!
