Its been a busy few weeks with the Youth in Arts group, as Nour has transitioned to a new role in CultureLink, and I (Max Kelly) have been warmly welcomed as the new Youth in Arts program worker. I come to the position with a long background in arts-education, workshop facilitation and experience in visual arts and puppetry. I'm also bringing lots of new drop-in activities, exhilarating workshops that will be lead by local artists and professionals, and some exciting outings to some of Toronto's coolest cultural hubs. My first week was spent meeting the many great people at CultureLink and getting to know some of the Youth in Arts participants. To prepare for our upcoming trip and educational workshop to the Koffler Center for the Arts, we began to work on creative personal Maps (and have a little birthday celebration for Abdi!)
