Youth in Action Exploring Toronto's Parks!

Youth in Action Drop In has spent the summer exploring parks in Toronto. It is amazing what you can find so close to home!

The group had a nature walk around High Park looking for Geocaches! This activity is like looking for treasure with a compass on your phone and if you're lucky, you can find some cool stuff.
Looking for the hidden treasure was getting tough, so we took a break at the Splash-Pad.

On this day, the girls from Mimico were able to escape the clutches of the Mummy's tomb as they used their brains to solve riddles and make it through the Escape Room activity.

Another day, we visited Dufferin Grove Park from a game of drop-in soccer and a theatre performance. We were also able to check out the local farmer's market to see where to get fresh food in the city.
