Sankofa Job Search Workshop

On Friday, we a had speaker who told us about how to find a job that we would like to do. Also, we learnt about where to find a job that is based on our preferences and passion, such as sports, arts, working with kids and so on.


Wonderful presenter from CultureLink's Newcomer Settlement Program, Lily Krowiak, sharing her insights with the newcomer LGBTQ youth and allies, on job search tips and ideas.


Also, we talked about LGBTQ community. For example, we learnt more about what it means to identify with being a member of LGBTQ communities.

Flyura sharing her thoughts on what gives her a sense of self.



Also I met some new friends and had fun. In addition, we got some tips about places where we can work in the upcoming summer!
