Youth March Break Activity - Indoor Rock Climbing with @mec @mec_nation

On Wednesday March 15th CultureLink Youth programs took 22 youth to Joe Rockhead's for indoor rock climbing. For many of them, it was their first time and here is what some of them had to say.

"This was my first time ever coming rock climbing. I didn't even know there was such a thing as indoor rock climbing. I was really nervous when we got here, but after seeing other people do it I gave it a try. CultureLink staff and the other youth were cheering me on and that made me want to reach the top. I had so much fun and worked out my arms. I would love to come back. Thank you for letting me join." Yahya, 15 yrs

"I came because my brother asked me to. I wasn't expecting to have as much fun as I ended up having. I'm really glad I attended." Arhi, 16 yrs

"This is my 2nd time rock climbing. I went last year with the youth program at CultureLink. I wouldn't have a chance to do things like this if it weren't for this program. So I am thankful for getting to do this again. " Miguel 17 yrs

Couldn't resist a selfie opportunity.
